Proposal for a hardware software project to secure a users information and data in a personal hand held device hereafter called a "Private Offline Digital Wallet" (PODW) for cell phone size devices or "Private Offline Digital Assistant" (PODA). For tablet size or bigger devices. In general the descriptions below I will only use (PODA) to cover all devices regardless of size..
The proposed newly built device's end goal is for it to be inaccessible to anyone by any means, except the user/owner hereafter simply called the user. The users personal "Digital assets, and personal information are all created stored offline and are inaccessible to digital online hacking by any outside party. this would include; "Sole Individuals", Both "Public and/or Private Entities", And Government level. "County, State and Federal" All would be denied any access to the users private information without a court order to gain access from the user who owns the digital property..
How to build this simple portable, "Personal Offline Digital Wallet" or Digital Assistant.
The proposed hand held Hardware/Software application must always be built from and follow 3 Rules from its most basic hardware and core programming outwards..
Rule 1.
"Airgap" The finished Personal Digital Wallet can never transmit or receive data or be aware of the existing hardwares existing capability to transmit or receive data. (new devices would be built without this hardware existing). This airgap construction would include incapacitating all radio signals from older devices such as wifi, bluetooth, etc. These radio signals must be stopped through flashing the ROM. A complete kernel software erase and open source re-installation is also needed on older devices. This device is never to be digitally accessed or used through any means except through onboard screen display (such as QR code), SD card, camera scanner, or any other possible true airgapped means.
Rule 2.
"Only the user/owner can access, change, or even open the (PODA)". Once the rom is flashed and kernel software installed. The encryption is at user level and user controlled/accessible. The User/Owner also retains all root control and rights. Which brings us to rule 3.
Rule 3.
The entire device from the Rom to Kernel to Outer Shell Software must always be open source. The entire device must be built inside out with open source software and nothing else. This is done to ensure user privacy, security, and piece of mind.
The entire device after the basic kernel is built with the three rules being met. Is then further installed with a small open source distro and GUI and then encrypted for and by the individual user. The end product should therefor be a Personal hand held electronic wallet or (PODA) that only the individual user can access. Rendering it unusable or inaccessible to anyone else except the user/owner.
Added Optionals
The entire device after the basic kernel is built with the three rules being met. Is then further installed with a small open source distro and GUI complete with encryption for the individual user. The end product should therefor after all is said and done, be a Personal hand held electronic wallet or (PODA) that only the individual user can access or use. After a totally offline hand held device has been created it can also be designed or modified in several ways.
The entire device can be made read only and it can backup information to an external encrypted SD card. This can then be removed from the device. The device could also simply transmit through screen display (such as QR code). The device can also have a set aside internal cache for memory storage for other applications,

Why
This process would in the end create a handheld digital private secure wallet or offline personal digital assistant that is secure for the user, portable, and private. One in which the individual can work at leisure on private information in both remote and public areas without digital prying eyes from individuals and entities due to its airgapped design.
Uses
From the basic kernel endless multiple user platforms and programs can be created for this (PODA). Programs such as proprietary tax programs to help with personal tax figuring and filing on a proprietary SD card, you could work on them away from online sources until submission. It can hold personal banking info and vredit card information safely and securely, It can hold personal contact info you would want no one to have access to. It works well for crypto currency generation and storage of assets, (a link is below for one already in use), One could in theory even keep sole ownership of stock certificates in digital format in cold storage SD card. High profile business papers can be worked on privately and securely until uploading or submission (even in coffee shops and on airplanes without external hacking), The possibilities once one gains total privacy are endless. In the future, even drivers license info could be displayed as a sole QR code. And if the police detain you. they would never be able to access the rest of your personal info stored on the device if they take it in possession
